Phase One And Two: The Mainland
The first and second phases of the map will include the base biomes of Eden. The biomes included in the first version of Eden will include the following: Beach, Redwoods, Pine Forest, some of the Fir Forest, Dead Forest, Swamp, Prairie, Jungle, and The Rift. The second phase will bring about the Snow, Ice, Volcanic Ground, and the Sulfur Pits, along with some others. These biomes each contain their own sub-biomes, and are subject to change.
Phase Two: The Desert
Phase two will include the desert area in the southern part of the map. Biomes are not fully planned out yet, but will be updated here once they are set in stone. Opening up the desert area will allow for a new obelisk to become accessible. A few bosses and some special weather events will also be added in at this time. Desert dino spawns will also be implemented in during this phase.
Phase Three: Tek City & Ocean
During phase three, the tek city will be added in along with some new dinos and weather events. Another boss will be added in as well. During this phase, the ocean will also be completed and spawns will be added in.
Phase Four: Underworld
During phase four, the Aberration underworld will be added in. It is expected to be about the same size, if not a tad bit smaller than the landscape of the surface. New dinos will be added in and a new weather event. A new obelisk will become accessible at this time as well. One of the bosses will become available for fighting in this area too.
Phase Five: Caves and Arenas
This phase will bring about the finalization and implementation of all artifact and resource caves, as well as the implementation of the rest of the boss arenas, including a custom boss fight.
Phase Six: Overseer & Ruins
This will be the final phase of map development. It will bring in the Overseer arena to allow for ascension. Some ruins as well as some "explorer notes" will be added in during this phase as well.
